The 4th lecture of the course consists of three presentations:

  1. Prof. Coeckelbergh gives an introduction to post-phenomenology and ideas of Don Ihde.
  2. Wessel Reijers, a guest lecturer (Dublin City University), introduces the theory of technological mediation developed by the contemporary philosopher of technology Peter-Paul Verbeek within the post-phenomenological framework.
  3. Prof. Steve Torrans (University of Sussex) reflects on the “being” of technology and the way it changes our lives.
